Zusammenfassung

Argyll Scott is seeking an experienced Accountant to support its Singapore operations across general accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax and statutory compliance. The role covers journal entries, GL to trial balance, cash flow and management reporting, GST submissions and intercompany reconciliations.

You will liaise with auditors and tax advisors, maintain asset registers, and contribute to month-end/year-end closing.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience with full-set accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong understandings of general accounting, month-end closing and financial reporting.
• GST and corporate tax knowledge advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
• Experience with SAP or other ERP/accounting systems advantageous.
• Detail-minded, able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Prepare monthly management, inventory reports and Notes to the Accounts.
• Prepare quarterly Cash Flow Statements and Balance Sheet reporting.
• Coordinate quarterly GST submissions.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities.
• Prepare ad-hoc management and statutory/government reports as required.
• Liaise with external auditors and prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors for corporate tax preparation.
• Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and month-end intercompany confirmations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities and other finance-related projects.

As part of its Finance team, the company is looking for an experienced Accountant to support its Singapore operations. The role offers broad exposure across general accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage General Ledger activities through to Trial Balance, including preparation and posting of journal entries.
