Rapsodo, a leader in sports analytics hardware and software, seeks a hands-on Device Quality Engineering Lead in Singapore. You will own cross-product validation, build and run a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing farm and drive automated regression testing, ensuring high-quality releases across devices.

You will mentor two engineers, collaborate with Architecture, Firmware, CV/IP, Hardware and Manufacturing teams, and translate field issues into preventive measures while overseeing risk-based

Qualifications

• 8+ years in embedded or connected-device validation, systems test, integration or quality engineering, including technical leadership and experience shipping products.
• Demonstrated hands-on ownership of a HIL farm or automated hardware-test system, including fixtures, instrument control, device recovery and reliable CI execution.
• Strong Python automation and embedded Linux debugging skills; comfortable reading C/C++ and investigating failures through logs, traces, APIs and laboratory instruments.
• Experience designing end-to-end, performance, reliability and interruption/recovery tests, and separating device, firmware, algorithm, application and test-infrastructure failure modes.
• Sound judgement in measurement uncertainty, repeatability, test coverage and release evidence, supported by clear communication and experience mentoring engineers.
• A relevant engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Camera/radar, imaging, robotics, computer vision, calibration or sports-measurement experience is valuable. Familiarity with CI/CD, test-result management, field diagnostics and environmental qualification is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Own Cross-Product Quality & Validation by defining risk-based validation plans and criteria.
• Build & Operate the HIL Farm, including provisioning, automation and reliable unattended execution.
• Engineer Integration & Regression Automation with reusable frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Validate Measurement Performance & Real-World Behaviour with reference measurements and coverage.
• Strengthen Release Readiness & Quality Evidence with traceability and visible quality views.
• Lead Engineers & Turn Field Issues Into Prevention by mentoring two engineers and prioritising automation backlog.
