Job summary

Rapsodo PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Senior Hardware Engineer to drive the full hardware lifecycle, from concept through production. You will translate measurement architectures into circuit designs, implement PCBs, and validate systems in real-world environments.

You will work with firmware and mechanical teams to ensure reliability, compliance with FCC/EMC/Safety, and high-speed interfaces like PCIe, MIPI, USB, and HDMI. A strong background in RF, radar, and FPGA-based systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in hardware design, validation, and optimization across full product life cycles.
• Proven experience in high-speed digital board design (DDR, PCIe, MIPI, LVDS).
• Experience in analog circuit design and simulation.
• Experience in RF and radar design.
• Experience in developing complex CPU and FPGA based hardware systems.
• Experience in tools such as Altium Designer, PADS PCB, Allegro, ORCAD.

Responsibilities

• Own the full hardware development lifecycle, taking designs from initial concept through to production release.
• Select components and perform schematic capture and PCB layout for optimized, production-ready hardware.
• Create and manage PCB libraries and Bills of Materials, maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Document design decisions clearly and ensure they remain traceable to system requirements at every stage of development.
• Develop and execute hardware validation plans, test cases, and procedures.
• Perform functional and performance testing across hardware components and subsystems (PCBs, ICs, connectors, power systems, etc).
• Debug issues, resolve defects, and continuously improve hardware performance.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Work closely with Firmware, Mechanical, NPI, Manufacturing and Algorithm teams to ensure system alignment across hardware and product requirements.
