INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY SCHOOL (SINGAPORE) LTD seeks a High School English Teacher to deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction for high school students in Singapore. The role emphasizes critical thinking, literary analysis, and effective communication, with integration of a Biblical Worldview.

The candidate will plan, differentiate, assess, and collaborate to support students academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually, while leading Chapel and service activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Teaching credential from a US state, Canadian province or from ACSI.
• Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching high school.
• Experience teaching AP English or readiness to teach AP English.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver high-quality, student-centered instruction aligned with the IC curriculum and standards; integrate Biblical Worldview throughout the curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction using learning data to support diverse needs and collaborate with staff.
• Utilize formative and summative assessments; provide timely feedback and communicate progress to students, parents, and administration.
• Incorporate emerging technologies, including Generative AI, to enhance learning and develop ethical tech practices.
• Create a safe, organized classroom environment and maintain positive relationships; manage behavior effectively.
• Complete curriculum documentation, attendance, grades, and substitute planning; participate in school events and committees.
