Job summary

Aurex Group, a leading hedge fund, is expanding its Singapore operations to strengthen daily settlement, reconciliation and controls across securities and listed derivatives. The role focuses on ensuring operational stability, regulatory compliance, and effective stakeholder management across front office, finance, operations and external counterparties.

You will contribute to process improvements, system initiatives and ongoing BAU excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years’ experience in financial markets operations/settlements.
• Strong experience across securities and/or listed derivatives settlements.
• Understanding of settlement lifecycle, reconciliations, clearing and controls.

Responsibilities

• Daily settlement operations across securities, futures and related products.
• Timely, accurate trade settlements, reconciliations, cash movements and exception handling.
• Manage brokers, exchanges, custodians and internal stakeholders.
• Drive automation and process enhancements for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Support new business initiatives, system implementations and projects.
• Escalate and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Produce management reporting and monitor operational KPIs.

Job description

A large hedge fund is looking to hire a couple of operations roles as part of a build out in Singapore. These roles daily operational processing, controls, reconciliation, and settlement activities covering listed derivatives, securities, and related financial products.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational stability, regulatory compliance, process improvement, and stakeholder management across front office, finance, operations, and external counterparties.

Key Responsibilities

• daily settlement operations across securities, futures, and related financial products
• Ensure timely and accurate trade settlement, reconciliations, cash movements, and exception management
• Manage relationships with brokers, exchanges, clearing houses, custodians, and internal stakeholders
• Drive operational efficiency, automation, and process enhancement initiatives
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements
• Support new business initiatives, system implementations, and operational projects
• Escalate and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
• Produce management reporting and maintain oversight of operational KPIs

Requirements

• 5-10+ years’ experience within financial markets operations/settlements
• Strong experience across securities and/or listed derivatives settlements
• Strong understanding of settlement lifecycle, reconciliations, clearing, and operational controls
• Hands-on management style with the ability to manage BAU while driving improvements
• Familiarity with Hong Kong regulatory and market infrastructure is beneficial
