Job summary

Ng Teng Fong General Hospital is seeking a proactive supervisor for its high-volume patient meal service. The role involves generating meal orders, handling enquiries, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

You will monitor temperatures, coordinate catering orders, and support continuous service excellence within a hospital setting. Applicants should have 5–7 years of supervisory experience in hospital or large-scale food service, with basic Food Hygiene certification

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE N Level / O Level / Nitec; Diploma adds advantage.
• 5-7 years supervisory experience in hospital or high-volume food service.
• Basic Food Hygiene certification.
• Proficient in spoken English; second language a plus.
• Able to work in cold room environment (4–18°C).
• Physically fit and strong.

Responsibilities

• Generate patient meal orders and meal summaries.
• Handle enquiries and complaints on patient meals.
• Monitor and record critical control points and report deviations for corrective action.
• Report maintenance needs to One Response Centre (ORC).
• Perform Checker function by cross-checking meals and orders before loading.
• Ensure food hygiene, critical control point, Halal and workplace safety compliance.
