Job summary

FOODIE CONCEPT PTE. LTD. invites an experienced Head Chef cum Staff trainer to lead and mentor our kitchen team at the Thai Bistro Bar, near Bendemeer MRT. You will shape the menu, supervise kitchen staff, and demonstrate Thai cooking techniques to elevate our offerings.

The role requires strong culinary skills, teaching abilities, and a passion for mentoring. Expect a 6-day work week with potential overtime to meet service demand.

Qualifications

• Formal culinary education and certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Patience and a passion for teaching and mentoring.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic culinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant menu and kitchen staff.
• Lead in Thai cuisine and menu development.
• Conduct hands-on culinary demonstrations and workshops for staff.
• Provide mentorship and assess chefs' performance.
