Job summary

Foodie Concept Limited is seeking a Head Chef cum Staff trainer for Thai Bistro Bar near Bendemeer MRT. You will lead menu development, oversee kitchen staff, and deliver hands-on Thai cuisine demonstrations for staff training.

You will mentor and assess chefs, ensure food safety and hygiene, and foster a collaborative, high-standard kitchen culture. 6 days work week; OT possible if needed. Salary SGD 6000–9000 per month.

Qualifications

• Formal culinary education and certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Patience and a passion for teaching and mentoring.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic culinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Head chef responsibilities - oversee menu development and kitchen staff.
• Lead Thai cuisine-focused demonstrations and staff workshops.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to staff to improve culinary skills.
• Assess chefs' performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure staff adhere to food safety and hygiene practices.
