Job summary

Singapore American School seeks a dynamic Head of Development for Recreational and Learn to Swim (LTS) to lead program design, coaching education, and community engagement. You will guide coaches, coordinate pathways, and ensure safe, engaging activities for swimmers across levels.

You will collaborate with the Aquatics Coordinator and senior coaching staff, champion inclusivity, and advocate for ongoing program improvements using modern industry practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time swim coaching or teaching experience.
• Certification in First Aid; ASCA/NROC levels or equivalent required.
• Ability to coach multiple levels/ages and develop adult coaches.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative, level-appropriate swim programs and pathways.
• Lead Elementary Squads progress with the Head of Competitive Swimming.
• Coach recreational swimmers and manage Eagle Club Swim School operations.
• Plan safe indoor activities and run evaluation sessions for team placement.
• Collaborate with SAS Aquatics Coordinator and senior staff on pathways and scheduling.
• Support the coaching team to maintain a positive, inclusive environment.
