The school is looking for a Head of Spanish to lead and manage the Spanish department within the Senior School, reporting to the Head of Faculty for Languages and Classics. The appointee will shape the department’s pedagogical direction, oversee curriculum development, and ensure high standards of teaching and learning. Key responsibilities include mentoring and reviewing staff, managing resources, supporting innovation in teaching practices, and embedding real‑life learning opportunities aligned with the school’s vision. The role also requires involvement in assessment, examinations, and careers advice, as well as fostering collaboration across departments and external partnerships. Strong leadership, subject expertise, adaptability to teach across pathways (A Level and IB), and the ability to inspire both students and colleagues are essential for success in this position.
