This is a senior commercial leadership opportunity with responsibility forbusiness growth, loan portfolio development, strategic partnerships, customer acquisition, sales channels and team leadership.

Working closely with Senior Management and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in shaping the company's Credit Marketing strategy while ensuring sustainable growth within the company's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

What you'll be responsible for

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the company’s Credit Marketing strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.

• Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and distribution channels to drive sustainable business growth.

• Establish annual business plans, sales targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Credit Marketing department.

• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities and potential risks.

Business Development & Growth

• Drive SME customer acquisition and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers.

• Develop and expand strategic partnerships to increase financing opportunities and customer acquisition.

• Identify opportunities to grow market penetration and improve portfolio performance.

• Develop and optimise sales channels to support sustainable business growth.

Financial & Portfolio Performance

• Drive achievement of loan disbursement, revenue, and profitability targets.

• Monitor portfolio performance and identify opportunities to improve growth and profitability.

• Manage departmental budgets and optimise resource allocation.

• Prepare business forecasts, management reports and performance dashboards for Senior Management.

Leadership & People Management

• Lead, coach, and develop the Credit Marketing team to achieve departmental targets.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training and development opportunities.

• Build a high-performing, commercially focused team culture.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, Banking, or a related discipline.

• 8–10+ years of relevant experience in banking or financial serviceswithin the financial services or banking industry , with strong exposure to SME/commercial lending, credit, business development, sales or relationship management.

• At least5 years of leadership experiencemanaging sales, business development, or credit marketing teams.

• Proven track record in achieving business growth and managing strategic partnerships.

• Strong experience in developing customer relationships and strategic partnerships.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth, profitability, credit considerations and regulatory requirements.

• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Candidates with strong SME Banking, Commercial Banking, Business Banking, SME Lending, Credit Sales or related financial-services experience are encouraged to apply.
