Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Singapore seeks an Operations Director to lead Bedok Ops, shaping long-term strategy, safety, and performance across environment, health & safety, people, quality, delivery, cost and operations excellence.

You will drive strategic planning, production management, and continuous improvement, oversee budgets, resources, and supplier relations, and inspire a high-performance team to meet demanding aerospace manufacturing objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of a Degree Engineering preferable in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Aerospace.
• MBA or APICS Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) added adventage.
• At least 15 years of related experiences in Manufacturing industry; and at least 10 years demonstrated progressive managerial experiences.
• Financial & management accounting knowledge

Responsibilities

• Create and execute long-term operational strategies aligned with the company’s objectives.
• Oversee production management to meet demand, cost, and quality targets.
• Implement stringent quality control processes per aerospace standards and regulations.
• Develop and manage operational budgets and drive cost-control initiatives.
• Oversee resource allocation and supplier/vendor relationships for material supply.
• Lead safety, sustainability, and environmental initiatives across the site.
• Provide leadership to build a skilled, high-performing operations team.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle times and waste.
• Ensure compliance with ethics and export controls across operations.
