Job summary

virtux innovations pte. ltd. seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead the daily manufacturing site in Singapore, oversee the local team, and ensure on-time delivery. The role involves collaborating with HQ on NPI, transfers, and site readiness while driving cost and quality improvements.

You will work hands-on with shopfloor staff, coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and logistics, and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, factory, or operations management.
• Experience in NPI, production transfer, or factory setup/build-up projects.
• Experience in small-to-medium manufacturing environments with cross-functional responsibilities.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS/MES systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Hands-on and willing to work closely with shopfloor team.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (Mandarin is required for HQ communication).

• Drive new product introduction (NPI) and production transfer projects from HQ to the Singapore site.
• Develop a strong understanding of products, production processes, testing requirements, and quality standards to support future product launches.
• Ensure stable production, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement in operational efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Coordinate closely with HQ teams across manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and logistics functions.
• Build and manage relationships with local suppliers and service providers, and support future localization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, factory, or operations management.
• Experience in new product introduction (NPI), production transfer, or factory setup/build-up projects is highly preferred.
• Experience working in small-to-medium manufacturing environments and managing cross-functional responsibilities is preferred.
