Job summary

Trinax seeks a visionary Head of Immersive Systems & Operations to shape and lead our high-performance Operations function. You will drive strategy, system design, pre-sales solutioning, and on-ground execution for premium immersive experiences, balancing creative ambition with technical rigour and commercial realism.

You will mentor field engineers into specialist system engineers, build scalable processes, and align operations with Trinax’s shift toward global replication and long-term

This role is for a builder and game-changer, not a caretaker.

The Head of Immersive Systems & Operation is responsible for shaping, leading, and transforming Trinax’s Operations function into a high-performance technical organisation capable of supporting increasingly complex, premium, and globally replicable immersive experiences.

The role spans strategy, system design intent, pre-sales solutioning, and on-ground execution — balancing creative ambition with technical rigour, operational excellence, and commercial realism.

Operations as a Value Creator

• Own and elevate Operations as a strategic enabler, not a cost centre.
• Design operational systems that make immersive experiences:

Asset, Vendor & Risk Ownership

• Own and maintain accurate, up-to-date asset inventory across all AV and IT equipment.
• Manage asset lifecycle from deployment to decommissioning.
• Coordinate third-party vendors and OEMs for:
  • Servicing
  • Repairs
  • Warranties
  • Escalations
• Serve as Workplace Safety Officer (or key liaison) ensuring safe execution of on-site works.

Strategic Alignment & Future Readiness

• Align Operations with Trinax’s shift toward premium, complex, immersive experiences.
• Design operational models that support:
  • Global replication
  • Multi-site deployments
  • Long-term serviceability
• Think 3–5 years ahead, not just project-to-project.

Required Experience & Skills

Experience

• In AV and Multimedia system integration
• In immersive/experiential technology space
• Executed large-scale display, projection, or interactive environments
• Proven track record of building and leading technical teams.
• Comfortable operating across strategy, design intent, and execution.

Technical Knowledge

• Deep hands-on understanding of:
  • LED walls, displays and projection systems
  • Media servers, show control, sensors
  • Audio systems and signal processing
  • Control and monitoring platforms
• Strong system-level thinking across AV + IT.
• Highly familiar with off-the-shelve solutions and Partners that can elevate our ambitions

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Workplace Safety Officer certification preferred.
• ITIL or operations-related certification is an advantage.
