Build Things That Have Never Existed Before. Improve the Ones That Already Do.

At Trinax, we create interactive products and experiences that combine AI, electronics, robotics, sensors, software, and physical design. From AI-powered kiosks and smart retail solutions to immersive museum exhibits, interactive installations, IoT devices, and next-generation customer experiences, we transform bold ideas into products that delight users and create meaningful business impact.

We're looking for an Innovation Engineer who loves building, experimenting, and solving challenging problems. If you're excited by turning ideas into working prototypes and continuously learning new technologies, we'd love to meet you.

Why You'll Love Working Here

Innovation isn't a department—it's how we work.

You'll work with multidisciplinary teams to turn bold ideas into real products and experiences. Every project is different, giving you the opportunity to work across industries including retail, museums, healthcare, education, tourism, and smart cities.

You could be building:

  • AI-powered interactive products
  • Smart kiosks and self-service solutions
  • Interactive museum and exhibition experiences
  • RFID, IoT and sensor-based systems
  • Robotics, computer vision and automation solutions
  • Immersive and phygital experiences
  • Rapid proof-of-concepts for new products and business ideas

You’ll have the freedom to experiment, challenge assumptions, and take ownership from concept to commercialisation. If you love learning by building and solving real-world problems, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, prototype and test interactive products using embedded systems, electronics and emerging technologies.
  • Build proof-of-concepts using platforms such as Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other embedded systems.
  • Integrate components such as RFID/NFC, BLE, sensors, cameras, displays, motors, servos and actuators into functional prototypes.
  • Design mechanical components and assemblies using Fusion 360 or SolidWorksand other CAD tools for fabrication and production, leveraging 3D printing, laser cutting and CNC machining where appropriate.
  • Evaluate concepts for technical feasibility, manufacturability and scalability.
  • Rapidly iterate prototypes through testing, experimentation and user feedback.
  • Collaborate with designers, strategists and developers from concept to commercialisation.
  • Work with fabrication partners and manufacturers to transition prototypes into production-ready solutions.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, coding, prototyping, testing and product development.
  • Present prototypes and concepts to clients, gather feedback, and refine solutions collaboratively.
What We’re Looking For

We're looking for curious builders who love creating things that don't yet exist.

You’ll thrive if you:
  • Love building, tinkering and experimenting.
  • Enjoy hands-on prototyping and problem-solving.
  • Think creatively while remaining practical.
  • Communicate well and enjoy multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Take initiative and ownership
Experience:
  • Fresh graduates with exceptional portfolios are welcome.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience is preferred.

If you don't meet every requirement but believe you'd excel, we'd still love to hear from you.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Product Design, Computer Engineering or equivalent hands‑on experience.
  • Experience building electronic or embedded prototypes.
  • Familiarity with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi or similar platforms.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Nice to Have:

Experience in AI, robotics, computer vision, IoT, PCB design, UX, manufacturing, rapid prototyping, 3D printing, laser cutting or CNC machining.
