Job summary

DBS Bank in Singapore is seeking a senior data security governance leader to define, champion and oversee enterprise-wide standards across the data lifecycle. You will partner with risk, technology and business units to ensure secure data usage and compliant controls.

You will drive risk indicators, mentor a team of governance specialists and foster a culture of data security literacy as part of a fast-paced, innovative DBS environment focused on responsible AI and real-time data use.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or data science.
• Strong background in data security governance frameworks and controls.
• Experience leading cross-functional data security initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee enterprise-wide data security governance standards and frameworks.
• Ensure data security governance addresses agentic AI, real-time and unstructured data use.
• Drive communication, messaging and alignment on data security governance standards and outcomes.
• Partner with risk management and technology leadership to define and execute data security governance initiatives.
• Continuously refine and improve data security governance frameworks to address emerging risks and regulatory changes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data security governance specialists.
