Job summary

PayerMax is seeking a Head of Innovation Business to lead strategic planning, business development, compliance operations, and team management for its innovation unit. Focus areas include OTC trading, cross-border stablecoin payments, and forward-looking crypto card issuance initiatives.

The role requires deep Web3 payments expertise, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to negotiate with top-tier financial and crypto institutions across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Industry experience: 10+ years in fintech, cross-border payments, crypto or Web3.
• 5+ years in senior management roles at leading Web3 institutions, OTC desks or licensed VASPs.
• Deep Web3 payment expertise with OTC trading, B2B stablecoin clearing & settlement, and Crypto Card issuance.
• Global, distributed team leadership with cross-time-zone collaboration.
• Excellent English and Mandarin for high-stakes negotiations.
• Bachelor’s degree or above; finance/economics/CS/MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth blueprint with clear monetisation models and competitive moats.
• Lead scaled OTC trading operations, optimise liquidity pools, on/off‑ramp channels and pricing.
• Drive B2B stablecoin payments for cross-border trade, settlement and savings.
• Oversee end-to-end Crypto Card issuance (virtual/physical) including partnerships and compliance.
• Negotiate with top-tier institutions (MMs, custodians, banks, card networks) and foster strategic partnerships.
