The Head of Corporate Communications & Brand will own how Silith is perceived externally and internally — as a company, not just a product line. This person will build and lead corporate communications (press, analyst relations, executive visibility, crisis and issues communications) and brand (identity, voice, and creative standards) as Silith scales its US market presence and commercial organization. The role partners closely with the CEO, CRO, CTO, and VP Global Marketing to ensure Silith's corporate story, brand identity, and public presence are consistent, credible, and aligned with both commercial and technical priorities — distinct from, but tightly coordinated with, product and technical marketing.
Responsibilities:
Corporate Communications & PR
- Own Silith's corporate communications strategy, including press relations, company announcements, and executive communications
- Build and manage relationships with relevant press, industry publications, and media covering semiconductors, photonics, and AI infrastructure
- Draft and manage press releases, corporate messaging documents, executive talking points, and Q&A materials
- Develop and maintain a proactive media relations calendar tied to funding milestones, partnerships, product launches, and industry events
Analyst & Industry Relations - Own relationships with industry analysts covering semiconductors, optical interconnect, and AI infrastructure markets
- Coordinate analyst briefings, inquiries, and reports in partnership with Technical Marketing and executive leadership
- Track analyst commentary and industry narrative relevant to Silith's positioning and competitive landscape
Executive Communications & Thought Leadership - Partner with the CEO, CRO, and CTO to build executive visibility through bylines, interviews, panels, and speaking opportunities
- Develop executive thought leadership content that reinforces Silith's corporate narrative and market credibility — spanning business strategy (CEO/CRO) and technical vision (CTO)
- Prepare executives for media appearances, investor conversations, technical conference keynotes, and public speaking engagements
- Work directly with the CTO to translate technical vision and roadmap direction into corporate-level narrative, ensuring alignment with Technical Marketing's more detailed product-level content
Brand Strategy & Identity - Own Silith's brand identity, voice, and visual standards across all corporate and marketing materials
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across web, collateral, events, and product marketing content
- Lead brand evolution as Silith grows its US presence and market position, balancing global consistency with local market relevance
- Partner with Product Marketing and Technical Marketing to ensure brand consistency without diluting product- and technical-level messaging
Corporate Narrative & Messaging - Own the company-level narrative: who Silith is, why it exists, and why it matters — distinct from individual product or technical messaging
- Ensure consistency of corporate story across investor materials, careers/recruiting content, website, and public-facing channels
- Partner with HR and executive leadership on employer brand and recruiting-related communications
- Work with the CTO to ensure the corporate narrative accurately and credibly reflects Silith's technology vision and roadmap direction
Crisis & Issues Communications - Develop crisis communications protocols and holding statements for potential reputational, legal, or operational issues
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on sensitive or high-stakes external communications
- Coordinate cross-functionally (Legal, HR, executive leadership) on issues requiring careful public messaging
Events & Public Presence - Own Silith's corporate presence at major industry events and conferences, coordinating with Technical Marketing on booth presence, executive speaking slots, and press activity
- Manage sponsorships, partnerships, and industry association memberships that support brand visibility
- Support internal communications and company-wide announcements in partnership with HR and executive leadership
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR, or brand leadership, ideally at a technology, semiconductor, or deep-tech company
- Track record building and executing corporate communications strategy, including press, analyst relations, and executive visibility
- Strong brand and creative judgment, with experience owning brand identity and guidelines at a growing company
- Excellent writing and executive communication skills, including experience preparing senior leaders for public-facing moments
- Experience navigating sensitive or high-stakes communications situations with sound judgment
- Comfortable operating with significant autonomy in a fast-growing, cross-functional organization
Preferred Qualifications - Experience communicating for a company in semiconductors, photonics, optical interconnect, or AI infrastructure
- Existing relationships with relevant industry press and analysts
- Experience supporting a company through significant growth, funding milestones, or market expansion (e.g., US market entry)
- Experience partnering with product and technical marketing functions to maintain brand consistency without slowing technical communication
- Global communications experience, including working across US and Asia-based stakeholders
Success Measures - Consistent, credible corporate narrative and brand identity across all external channels
- Growing, high-quality press and analyst coverage aligned with commercial priorities
- Increased executive visibility through media, speaking, and thought leadership
- Brand guidelines and standards adopted consistently across Marketing, Product Marketing, and Technical Marketing materials
