Job summary

National Environment Agency is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee hawker centres, manage contracts and tenancy agreements, and ensure compliance with national policies. The role involves audits, reporting, and stakeholder engagement with town councils and agencies.

You will coordinate with Operators/Managing Agents, respond to incidents, and maintain records in the management system, while leading a small team in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in contracts and tenancy management in facilities/facilities-related settings.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work after office hours, weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of 2–3 hawker centres and monitor performance.
• Manage contracts and tenancy agreements signed with Operator/Managing Agent.
• Carry out audits of Operator's/Managing Agent’s performance.
• Monitor and review monthly and quarterly reports from Operator/Managing Agent.
• Handle feedback professionally and resolve issues per service standards.
• Coordinate incident-response and report to management in a timely manner.
• Maintain tenancy records in the Hawker Centre Management System monthly.
• Certify void reports to Town Councils monthly and approve invoices to Operator/Managing Agent.
• Prepare reports, papers and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Engage stallholders and government agencies as required.
