in Singapore seeks an experienced Fleet Repair and Maintenance Supervisor to oversee repair, servicing and preventive maintenance of our Harbour craft fleet to keep vessels safe and ready for daily operations. You will plan and supervise maintenance, inspect vessels, troubleshoot marine engines and supervise technicians, coordinating with captains and operations to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

Diploma or NITEC in Marine Engineering or related discipline.
Five years of marine repair/maintenance experience with supervisory exposure.
Strong knowledge of marine diesel engines, propulsion systems, and auxiliary machinery.

Responsibilities

Plan and supervise preventive maintenance, repairs and servicing across the fleet.
Inspect vessels, assess defects and prioritise repairs to minimise downtime.
Troubleshoot marine engines, generators, propulsion, pumps, hydraulics and basic electrical equipment.
Supervise maintenance personnel and provide hands-on technical support.
Coordinate with Captains, crew and Operations on maintenance schedules and vessel availability.
Arrange and oversee contractors, shipyard repairs, dry-docking and overhauls.
Monitor repair quality and verify completion before returning vessels to service.
Identify spare parts requirements, review quotations and coordinate procurement.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, defect reports and service schedules.
