Job summary

PERSOL OUTSOURCING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 1-year contract (renewable/convertible) in Singapore. The role covers routine preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.

You will respond to equipment breakdowns, run tests after repairs, manage spare parts stock and service records, and ensure safety compliance in an industrial setting. Overtime and on-call work are required.

Qualifications

Must have hands-on experience with machine/equipment troubleshooting and maintenance
Able to read and understand basic technical drawings and electrical diagrams
Experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance is advantageous
Willing to work overtime, on-call, or respond to emergencies as needed

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance according to the scheduled plan
Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and part replacements
Attend to equipment breakdowns and identify root causes
Conduct testing and functional checks after repairs
Be on-call for emergency breakdowns when required
Coordinate with vendors on servicing schedules
Update maintenance records and service reports
Monitor stock of spare parts and tools
Inspect and verify incoming parts and deliveries
Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
Support installation and improvement projects
Perform ad-hoc duties and operational support as assigned
