Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is urgently hiring Maintenance Technicians to support the manufacturing operations of a leading medical device company in Changi. This role is contract-to-permanent.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, read technical drawings, and assist with installation and calibration to minimise downtime and ensure safety and quality. This is a contract-to-permanent position with potential for conversion based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Carry out equipment troubleshooting, repair and corrective maintenance to minimise production downtime.
• Diagnose equipment faults and identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics and equipment manuals.
• Support equipment installation, modification, calibration and maintenance activities where required.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and smooth manufacturing operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns and repairs.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, quality and manufacturing requirements.
• Support the transition towards 24/7 manufacturing operations and other ad-hoc maintenance activities as required.
