Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Singapore for a 1-year (renewable/convertible) contract. Role covers preventive maintenance, electrical/mechanical repairs, and on-call support in an industrial setting.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics Engineering with hands-on maintenance experience and the ability to read technical drawings. Scissor lift operation and height work are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Experience in machine/equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Able to read and understand basic technical drawings and electrical circuit diagrams.
• Hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance will be an advantage.
• Able to operate a scissor lift.
• Comfortable working at height in an industrial environment.
• Willing to work overtime, on-call, or respond to emergencies.
• Candidates with Work at Height / Scissor Lift certifications will have an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance according to the scheduled maintenance plan
• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and replacement of faulty parts
• Attend to equipment breakdowns and identify the root cause of technical faults
• Perform testing and functional checks after repairs or maintenance
• Be available for on-call support for emergency equipment breakdowns when required
• Coordinate and follow up with vendors on equipment servicing and maintenance schedules
• Update maintenance records, service reports, and documentation after completing tasks
• Monitor and maintain sufficient stock of spare parts, tools, and maintenance equipment
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming spare parts and equipment deliveries
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with workplace health and safety requirements
• Support equipment installation, servicing, and improvement projects when required
• Perform other ad-hoc duties and operational support as assigned
