Job summary

ANSUDA SG PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Assistant Supervisor (Carpentry Factory) to supervise daily carpentry operations, ensure production targets are met, and maintain high-quality standards across furniture, cabinets, and structural components.

The role requires hands‑on woodworking, machinery operation, reading blueprints, enforcing safety, and mentoring junior team members. This full‑time on‑site position offers overtime opportunities and a pathway to skilled craft leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience in a factory setting.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and woodworking machines.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
• Knowledge of wood types, joinery, and finishing methods.
• Physically fit for lifting and standing long hours.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, sand, and assemble wooden parts per specifications.
• Operate hand tools and power tools including CNC machines.
• Construct and repair furniture, cabinets, doors and carpentry products.
• Select wood types and prepare materials for cutting.
• Inspect finished products and ensure quality standards.
• Follow blueprints and drawings accurately.
• Safely operate woodworking machinery and perform basic maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
