Job summary

Hessen Woodcraft PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a responsible Factory Supervisor to oversee daily factory operations, coordinate workers, monitor progress, and ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced carpentry/manufacturing environment.

The role involves supervising production, coordinating with project and sales teams, and maintaining discipline and order in the factory. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in factory supervision in carpentry or manufacturing.
• Ability to supervise workers and coordinate production work independently.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read basic drawings and production requirements.
• Responsible, hands-on and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to communicate with workers and internal teams effectively.
• Able to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily factory production and carpentry / manufacturing operations.
• Arrange and coordinate workers' daily duties and production tasks.
• Monitor production progress and ensure work is completed according to schedule.
• Check product quality and ensure finished items meet company requirements.
• Coordinate with project, sales, installation and management teams on production matters.
• Ensure materials, tools and equipment are properly used and maintained.
• Monitor workplace safety and ensure workers follow company safety rules.
• Assist in solving production issues and improving work efficiency.
• Report daily work progress, manpower issues and production problems to management.
• Maintain good discipline, housekeeping and order in the factory.
