Job summary

Hebei Jinbiao Construction Materials Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Factory & Site Installation Supervisor – Carpentry in Singapore. You will oversee factory operations, plan production, read joinery drawings and lead installation teams across residential, retail and commercial projects.

You will calibrate machinery, coordinate with project teams, ensure safety compliance, and manage site measurements and logistics.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years’ hands-on experience in custom carpentry/cabinet making with 2–3 years in a supervisor role.
• Able to read architectural drawings, shop drawings and cutting lists.
• Knowledge of timber, veneers, laminates, and modern hardware.
• Strong leadership and manpower coordination, including local/foreign workers.
• Familiar with Singapore WSH Act, MOM requirements, bizSAFE and BCA site compliance.
• Class 3 driving licence is advantageous.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends and night shifts when required.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and site coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily factory operations including cutting, assembly, finishing and manpower allocation.
• Plan production schedules and monitor materials (PET, hardware, adhesives, timber, veneers, laminates).
• Read blueprints and prepare cutting lists and production instructions.
• Operate, maintain and calibrate CNC and other factory machinery.
• Plan and lead installation teams for residential, retail and commercial projects.
• Take accurate site measurements and flag discrepancies before fabrication.
• Coordinate with factory teams, site project managers, interior designers and contractors.
• Manage delivery, transport, lifting and installation logistics, including night shifts.
• Troubleshoot site issues and meet tight deadlines.
• Conduct factory QC inspections and ensure quality standards.
• Enforce WSH, MOM and bizSAFE safety requirements on site and in factory.
• Lead project handover and ensure defects/touch-ups are completed within 48 hours.

• Plan production schedules and monitor materials such as PET, hardware, adhesives, timber, veneers and laminates.
• Read architectural blueprints, shop drawings, joinery details and 3D mock-ups; prepare accurate cutting lists and production instructions.
• Operate, maintain and ensure proper calibration of CNC, painting and other factory machinery.
• Plan and lead installation teams for residential, retail and commercial projects.
• Conduct accurate site measurements and identify site/structural discrepancies before fabrication.
• Coordinate closely with factory teams, site project managers, interior designers and main contractors.
• Manage delivery, transport, lifting and installation logistics, including mall/retail night-shift requirements.
• Troubleshoot site issues such as out-of-plumb walls, fitting difficulties and tight project deadlines.
• Conduct factory QC inspections before delivery and ensure finished products meet required standards.
• Enforce WSH, MOM and bizSAFE safety requirements in factory and on-site.
• Lead project handover and ensure defects/touch-ups are completed within 48 hours.

Requirements

• 5–8 years’ hands‑on experience in custom carpentry/cabinet making, with 2–3 years in a Supervisor/Foreman/Leadership role in Singapore.
• Strong ability to read architectural drawings, shop drawings, joinery sections and cutting lists.
• Good knowledge of timber, veneers, laminates and modern ironmongery/hardware.
• Strong leadership and manpower coordination skills, including local and foreign workers.
• Familiar with Singapore WSH Act, MOM requirements, bizSAFE and BCA site compliance.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence is highly advantageous.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends and night shifts when required.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and site coordination skills.
