Job summary

The officer role focuses on conducting audits and inspections to verify Halal certification compliance and to support the ongoing development of Halal standards and processes. You will contribute to the implementation, review and continuous improvement of certification requirements and audit methodologies.

Successful candidates will join on a contract basis and be able to work independently with integrity and professionalism in a Singapore-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in quality assurance or auditing.
• Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP and halal standards and certification processes.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills.
• Proactive, able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site audits and inspections of facilities to ensure halal compliance.
• Assess compliance with existing and new halal standards and identify gaps.
• Provide operational inputs to support development and improvement of halal processes.
• Maintain audit records and generate progress reports for management review.
