Job summary

The Public Service Division seeks an Auditor to conduct on-site audits and inspections to verify Halal certification compliance and support the development and improvement of Halal standards, requirements and processes.

You will maintain audit documentation and produce progress reports and analytics for management review, contributing to continuous improvement. The role is contract-based, requiring integrity, independence, and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in quality assurance or auditing; demonstrated expertise in conducting on-site audits and inspections.
• Tertiary education in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Auditing or related field; professional certification in auditing or quality management preferred.
• Good knowledge of food safety, quality management and halal certification requirements, with familiarity with GMP, HACCP, halal standards and certification processes, and other relevant industry standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with proficiency in audit techniques, report writing and Microsoft Office suite.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
• Able to undertake regular on-site audits and inspections at applicants’ premises.

• Maintain accurate documentation of audit findings and assist in generating progress reports and analytics on compliance trends for management review and process improvement.

• Good knowledge of food safety, quality management and halal certification requirements, with familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), halal standards and certification processes, and other relevant industry standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with proficiency in audit techniques, report writing and Microsoft Office suite.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
• Able to undertake regular on-site audits and inspections at applicants’ premises.

Successful candidate will be appointed on a contract basis.
