Job summary

The Young Men's Christian Association of Singapore is seeking a guest services associate to uphold service excellence, assist guests during check-in, and handle inquiries with professionalism.

You will register guests, confirm room requirements, respond to reservations promptly, and ensure a positive experience for every member and guest, including rosters that cover nights, weekends and public holidays, with opportunities to route special requests to the appropriate team.

Qualifications

• Preferably with O-Level, A-Level or Diploma.
• No related work experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided.
• Other general customer service-related experience will be advantageous.
• Customer service and people oriented.
• Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
• Innovative team player that is dynamic, self-motivated, pro-active, and mature.
• Must be able to work on rostered shifts, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

• Register guests, confirm room requirements, verify pre-registration, and manage customer expectations.
• Respond to reservation enquiries promptly and deal with reservations accurately and efficiently.
• Provide prompt and exceptional service to customers.
