Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. is hiring for a flexible and customer-focused Food Runner/Captain at our Sentosa restaurant. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high service standards.

You will lead service crew during daily operations, coordinate with team members, and keep the dining area clean and presentable. A fast-paced environment requires strong communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Relevant F&B, restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills with a positive and professional attitude.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment and coordinate with team members.
• Responsible, attentive to detail and committed to maintaining service and hygiene standards.
• Willing to work 5 days per week / 44 hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to guests throughout their dining experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and provide menu recommendations when required.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper service standards.
• Support table setup, clearing, resetting and general restaurant operations.
• As a Food Runner, ensure dishes are delivered to the correct tables efficiently and accurately.
• As a Captain, lead and guide service crew members during daily operations and ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards across the restaurant.
• Handle customer enquiries and feedback professionally, escalating issues to supervisors when necessary.
• Support opening and closing duties and other tasks assigned by the management team.
