Job summary

Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd is seeking a Mission-oriented Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Engineer for Ground Support Equipment to join our MRO–Engineering team at SATS Maintenance Centre. Located at Changi North Crescent, the role supports reliability, troubleshooting, and process improvements across GSE maintenance operations on-site.

You will report to the Operations Manager onsite and collaborate with the Head MRO-Engineering for hydraulic, mechanical and electrical matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering with relevant experience.
• Experience in maintenance operations, engineering or related roles.
• Ability to read schematics and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve technical issues utilizing fault tree analysis to minimize GSE downtime.
• Conduct failure mode analysis and recommend enhanced maintenance schemes to improve GSE reliability.
• Communicate with customers on troubleshooting, failure mode and corrective/preventive actions on technical defects.
• Prepare technical reports and presentation decks for submission and customer presentations.
• Develop, review, and update technical documentation including maintenance manuals, repair procedures, and engineering change requests.
• Perform spare parts obsolescence management including identifying obsolete parts and mitigating risk through monitoring and safety stocks.
• Collaborate with operations, quality assurance, and supply chain to optimize maintenance scheduling.
• Respond to urgent technical issues during off-office hours and on weekends when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.
