Job summary

ST Engineering Land MRO & Services Pte Ltd is seeking an engineer to troubleshoot and resolve GSE technical issues using fault tree analysis, aiming to minimise downtime.

You will conduct failure mode analysis, propose maintenance improvements, and communicate with customers on corrective actions. The role involves updating manuals, reports, and engineering change requests while coordinating with operations and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering with relevant field knowledge.
• Experience in maintenance operations, engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Familiarity with CAD and SolidWorks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve technical issues utilizing fault tree analysis to minimise GSE downtime.
• Conduct failure mode analysis and recommend enhanced maintenance to improve GSE reliability.
• Communicate with customers on troubleshooting, failure modes and corrective/preventive actions on defects.
• Prepare technical reports and presentation decks for submission and customer presentations.
• Develop, review, and update maintenance manuals, repair procedures, and engineering change requests.
• Manage spare parts obsolescence by identifying obsolete parts and mitigating risk with monitoring and safety stocks.
• Collaborate with operations, QA, and supply chain to optimise maintenance scheduling.
• Respond to urgent technical issues and emergencies during off-office hours and weekends as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.
