is seeking a mission-oriented Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Engineer to join the MRO–Engineering team, supporting Ground Support Equipment (GSE) maintenance operations at SATS Pte Ltd. Reporting on site to the Operations Manager at SATS Maintenance Centre, you will troubleshoot issues, perform failure analyses, update maintenance manuals and procedures, and collaborate with operations, quality assurance and supply chain to optimize schedules while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant engineering field and 2+ years’ experience OR Diploma with 6+ years in automotive, GSE or related field.
• Proven experience in maintenance operations, engineering, or related roles.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Conversant in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to read and understand schematics diagrams (mechanical/hydraulic, electrical is a plus).
• Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve technical issues to minimize GSE downtime.
• Conduct failure mode analysis and recommend maintenance improvements.
• Communicate with customers on troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for customer submissions.
• Develop, review, and update maintenance manuals, repair procedures, and engineering change requests.
• Perform spare parts obsolescence management and build safety stocks.
• Collaborate with operations, QA, and supply chain to optimize maintenance schedules.
• Respond to urgent technical issues during off-hours and weekends when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards.
