Job summary

Randstad Singapore is partnering with a Global leader in the infrastructure sector to appoint a Regional Group Risk Management & Insurance Director. The role reports to the Regional CFO and is responsible for the APAC insurance program, construction insurance management, and risk transfer strategies across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines, preferably with insurance qualifications.
• Relevant years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Experience in handling construction insurance such as CAR, TPL, PI, EC, etc., is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance and claims procedures and relevant Ordinances and Regulations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-starter and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the APAC insurance program.
• Drive construction insurance management and risk transfer strategies.
• Handle tender insurance pricing, terms and policy placements.
• Coordinate recovery from construction project insurance claims.
• Liaise with loss adjusters, brokers and insurers on insurance matters.

Our client is a Global leading MNC, a leader in the infrastructure sector they operate in, is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Regional Group Risk Management & Insurance Director to join their team, reporting directly to the Regional CFO. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring comprehensive insurance support services across the organisation.

Reporting to the Regional CFO, you will act as a business partner and subject matter expert, providing vital insurance support services throughout the organisation. You will manage and oversee the APAC insurance program, drive comprehensive construction insurance management, and execute contractual risk transfer strategies to mitigate organizational exposure. Additionally, you will handle tender insurance pricing and terms and conditions, alongside managing insurance policy placement and payments. You will also coordinate effective recovery from construction project insurance claims and liaise with external stakeholders such as loss adjusters, brokers, and insurers, as well as internal stakeholders on all insurance matters. Finally, you will manage Employee Compensation insurance and provide guidance and training to project EC teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
