Job summary

BreadTalk Group Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to oversee end-to-end Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations in Singapore. You will drive statutory reporting, GST filings, and inter-company reconciliations while coordinating month-end closes within group timelines.

The role requires 5–8 years in finance operations within a Shared Services environment, with at least 3 years in management, and a strong proficiency in SAP and automation/analytics tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-8 years of finance operations experience in Shared Services, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP); experience with automation or analytics tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversees end-to-end Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations to ensure accurate, timely, compliant processing.
• Manage statutory reporting including quarterly GST filings and ACAP reviews.
• Ensure reconciliation of inter-company transactions within Singapore.
• Coordinate month-end closing and deliver reports per Group timelines.
• Stakeholder communication and escalation for issues, delays, risks, and changes.
• Support Shared Services transformation initiatives, including system implementations and process stabilization.
• Provide coaching, training and development to direct reports on issues and improvements.

Job description

• Oversees the end-to-end operational of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations to ensure accurate, timely, compliant and sustainable transaction processing.
• Manage statutory reporting requirements, including quarterly GST filings and preparation for ACAP reviews, ensuring full adherence to regulatory standards.
• Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of inter-company transactions across entities within Singapore.
• Coordinate month-end closing activities and deliver accurate reports in line with Group reporting timelines.
• Manage stakeholder communication and escalation for operational issues, service delays, payment risks, compliance concerns, and process changes.
• Support Shared Services transformation initiatives, including system implementation, process stabilization, user adoption, and continuous improvement while balancing BAU operational needs.
• Provide support, coaching, training, and development to direct reports and team members on complex issues, exception handling, operational judgement, process improvements, and leadership capability.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in finance operations of Shared Services environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.
