Orca Global Pte. Ltd in Singapore seeks a hands-on Group Accountant to drive group reporting, consolidation and compliance across multiple entities and currencies.
You will work closely with the Financial Controller and finance team to ensure accurate consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and robust month-end processes. The role requires strong technical accounting skills, experience with SAP B1, and the ability to coordinate statutory filings, tax compliance, and audit activities.
We are seeking a hands-on Group Accountant with strong technical accounting skills and prior hands-on exposure to multi-entity, multi-currency group consolidation to strengthen the Group’s financial reporting and technical accounting capability.
This role will take ownership for group reporting, financial consolidation, key reconciliations, statutory reporting and compliance, working closely with the Financial Controller and the finance team.

a. Group & Statutory Reporting
Responsible and prepare the monthly and year-end group consolidation across multiple entities and currencies, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, NCI, retained earnings and equity movements, and other consolidation adjustments.
Prepare and reconcile the consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, ensuring all consolidation entries are complete, accurate and properly supported.
Responsible for group intercompany reconciliation and key balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring balances are complete, accurate and supported, and resolving exceptions where required.
Oversee general ledger integrity and month-end closing controls, including review of significant journal entries, account reconciliations, and accounting classifications.
Maintain and improve the group consolidation template and supporting schedules, ensuring accurate mapping of accounts, roll-forward consistency and timely completion of the consolidation process.
Prepare group reporting schedules and analysis to support monthly management reporting, year-end reporting and other reporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and group accounting policies.
b. Audit, Tax & Compliance
Lead the annual statutory audit process for individual entities, subsidiaries and consolidated group, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
Ensure corporate income tax, GST, withholding tax and other statutory filings are accurately prepared and submitted on time, with no material errors or missed deadlines.
Coordinate with tax agents and corporate secretarial firms, and maintain the compliance calendar for audit, tax, GST and statutory filing deadlines.
c. Finance System, Governance & Process Improvement
Act as a key finance user of SAP B1 accounting system, with the ability to investigate accounting and reconciliation issues directly in the system, troubleshoot accounting flows, resolve issues and work with system vendors where necessary.
Ensure contractual terms and obligations are correctly recorded in the accounting books.
Work with external consultants or Management and assist in the preparation and maintenance of the Group’s transfer pricing policy and related documentation.
Support the Financial Controller in finance process improvement, establishing internal controls, and digital transformation initiatives.
