Job summary

National University of Singapore (Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine) is seeking an Assistant Manager, Grants and Contracts on a 1-year contract renewable. The role supports management of research grants, contracts, events, and programme activities, coordinating across multiple functions to enable research and programme operations.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years’ experience in research administration, plus strong English communication and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Minimum 6 years of working experience, with at least 2 years in research administration.
• Highly organized and able to work under pressure and deadlines.
• Proactive problem-solving approach and strong stakeholder management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Grant Management: end-to-end management of grants from planning to closure.
• Coordinate with principal investigators and stakeholders to ensure smooth grant administration.
• Assist with grant budgets, expenditure tracking, variations and deliverables.
• Manage administration of research contract agreements (RCA, PA, NDA, and MOU).
• Coordinate contract review, execution, amendments, and tracking with the Contracts Team.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support events planning and coordination for recruitment visits, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
• Support the organisation of programme activities and ensure timely commencement of research work.
