Job summary

CPF Board is launching the NextGen Programme in Singapore. You will join #TeamCPF to contribute to national ICT projects and gain exposure to diverse development opportunities, mentorship, and structured rotations that groom you into a future technology leader or technical specialist.

The 2+2 year programme starts with a 2-year Junior Term in a department to build your IT foundation, followed by a Senior Term with broader rotations and potential talent development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Fresh IT graduates or IT professionals with no more than 2 years of experience.
• Interest in emerging technologies and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to national ICT projects that empower Singaporeans in retirement, housing, healthcare and related needs.
• Participate in a structured NextGen leadership and technical development programme with job rotations.
• Engage in on-the-job learning, mentorship, and collaborative project work with a large IT team.
• Rotate across departments to broaden IT foundation and contribute to impactful digital initiatives.

NextGen Programme Structure

Our NextGen programme is a 2+2 year programme. NextGeners will begin with a 2-year Junior Term, during which they will be assigned to a department to build their IT foundation.

• Officers who perform well during the Junior Term may be invited to join a 2-year Senior Term which includes a job rotation designed to expand their IT knowledge and experience across various functions.
• Those who excel during the Senior Term may be selected to join the Board's talent management programme.

Regardless of progression path, everyone will have the opportunity to continue contributing their expertise and make a meaningful impact with the Board.

• Innovative and Impactful National ICT Projects: Harness technology to support Singaporeans in funding their needs in retirement, housing and healthcare.
• Diverse Opportunities: Explore and work in a wide range of areas with a team of 700 IT professionals with diverse job functions from Application Development & Support, Cloud Computing, ICT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, DevSecOps to Robotics & Automation.
• Professional Growth: Gain essential technical knowledge through on-the-job training, and a structured leadership development programme.

• Application Development & Support: you will analyse user requirements, designing and implementing solutions, supporting regular updates, testing, fixing errors, ensuring security, and facilitating communication with stakeholders.
• Cloud Computing: you will manage cloud resources, ensuring smooth operation, and supporting software development and deployment in the cloud environment.
• ICT Infrastructure: you will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining our servers, storage systems, and operating systems to ensure maximum uptime, performance, and reliability.
• Cybersecurity: you will be at the forefront of protecting the Board's digital assets, employing proactive measures to prevent, detect, and respond to threats from risk assessments to network monitoring to ensure robust security protocols and user education, fortifying our defenses.
• DevSecOps: you will blend software development, IT operations, and security practices to streamline secure software delivery.
• Robotics & Automation: you will create and refine robotics systems and automated processes to improve efficiency from conducting testing to ensure functionality and collaborate with teams to integrate these solutions seamlessly into existing workflows.

We are seeking passionate Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, either fresh IT graduates or IT professionals with no more than 2 years of experience to join our team.

Application Process

• Online Assessments: Eligible candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment through our appointed vendor, the Pulsifi platform, as the next stage of the selection process.
• Assessment Centre: Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an in‑person, half‑day Assessment Centre held between December 2026 and January 2027.
• Final Interview: Candidates who progress beyond the Assessment Centre will be invited for a final onsite interview with our core management team.
• Application Outcome: Our HR team will inform all applicants of the outcome by April 2027. Successful candidates will begin their career journey with #TeamCPF in August 2027.
