Job summary

ByteDancers is building one of the world's largest data platforms. As a Software Engineer on the Data Management Suite team, you will design, develop, and optimize data integration systems that touch ingestion, development, catalog, security, and governance.

You will work across global partner teams and contribute to core products used by hundreds of millions of users. We seek graduates with strong CS foundations and backend skills in Java/Scala/Go, plus familiarity with real-time frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Proficient in at least one backend language such as Java, Scala, or Go.
• Strong foundations in data structures and algorithms.
• Understanding of software design/architecture, testing and launching software products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop computing architecture for data integration across business lines.
• Collaborate with partner teams around the world.
• Optimize performance and stability of real-time data integration services.
• Contribute to customization/enhancement of Flink kernel and engage with open-source community.
