Job summary

Ideal candidates are pursuing CS/Software Engineering degrees, with backend language experience and a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software testing. Familiarity with Flink is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Undergraduate/Master's in CS, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in at least one backend language (Java, Scala, or Go).
• Experience in software development with strong foundations in data structures and algorithms.
• Understanding of software design and architecture, as well as testing and launching software products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the computing architecture for data integration, and support the delivery of data integration requirements across different business lines throughout ByteDance.
• Work closely with partner teams across the company and around the world.
• Optimize the performance and stability of real-time data integration services.
• Participate in the customization and enhancement of the Flink kernel, and maintain collaboration with the open-source community.
