Job summary

ByteDance is offering an internship focused on designing and building the data integration architecture, enabling delivery across diverse business lines. You will collaborate with teams worldwide and contribute to real-time data services, optimizing performance and stability.

Ideal candidates are pursuing CS/Software Engineering degrees, with backend language experience and a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software testing. Familiarity with Flink is a plus.

Qualifications

Pursuing an Undergraduate/Master's in CS, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in at least one backend language (Java, Scala, or Go).
Experience in software development with strong foundations in data structures and algorithms.
Understanding of software design and architecture, as well as testing and launching software products.

Responsibilities

Design and develop the computing architecture for data integration, and support the delivery of data integration requirements across different business lines throughout ByteDance.
Work closely with partner teams across the company and around the world.
Optimize the performance and stability of real-time data integration services.
Participate in the customization and enhancement of the Flink kernel, and maintain collaboration with the open-source community.
