Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Data Management Suite team in Singapore. You will build and optimize one of the largest data platforms, spanning data ingestion, development, catalog, security, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
• Familiarity with at least one backend language (Java/Go/Python).
• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Exposure to Spring Boot and big data technologies (Hadoop, ClickHouse, Flink).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a unified data development platform to improve efficiency of global data producers.
• Explore approaches to managing distributed states and synchronizing metadata.
• Design and develop a high-performance distributed scheduling system for large-scale tasks.
• Collaborate with partner teams around the world.
• Develop integrations with other systems in the big data ecosystem.
