TikTok is seeking graduates to join a research-focused ML team in Singapore, developing e-commerce recommendation systems and large-scale models that power live-streams, short videos, and product recommendations. You will work with a group of ML engineers and data scientists to translate research ideas into scalable solutions.

Successful candidates should be in final year or hold a PhD in a technical field, with strong programming skills and hands-on ML experience using frameworks like

Competenze

• Final year or recent PhD graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong programming and problem-solving ability.
• Experience in applied machine learning, familiar with one or more algorithms such as Collaborative Filtering, Matrix Factorization, Factorization Machines, Word2vec, Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting Trees, Deep Neural Networks, Wide and Deep etc.
• Experience in Deep Learning Tools such as tensorflow/pytorch.

Mansioni

• Participate in building large-scale e-commerce recommendation algorithms and systems in TikTok.
• Build long and short term user interest models and design algorithms to explore latent interests efficiently.
• Design, develop, evaluate and iterate on predictive models for candidate generation and ranking, including real-time data pipelines and feature engineering.
