Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD is seeking a Manager for GQ Ops IE Modeling & Automation to lead automation strategy, system enablement, IE modeling, planning tools, and data governance. You will drive standardized, scalable execution across sites and partner with IT, Facilities, and external partners to reduce manual touchpoints.

You will collaborate with GQ Ops, Process Engineering, Planning, IE, Central and Site Automation to transform operations and enable AI-driven insights

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in automation or engineering.
• Experience in automation, IE, manufacturing systems, planning, data analytics.
• Strong knowledge of MES, AMHS, and core metrics (capacity, throughput, cycle time).
• Proficiency in data tools: Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau.
• Ability to collaborate across global teams and manage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the GQ Ops automation roadmap across sites.
• Benchmark industry solutions and translate into scalable strategies.
• Drive equipment and process automation to reduce manual work.
• Define requirements, ROI, vendor engagement, FAT/SAT/PAC.
• Standardize automation designs across sites and drive AI transformation.
• Develop scalable IE modeling and planning systems.
• Build dashboards and decision-support tools for ops.
• Lead cross-site execution and develop a high-performing central team.
