Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks an Engineer for GQ OPS-REL PROCESSS to lead new lab enablement, qualification of equipment, and layout changes, coordinating with Facilities and GEL to ensure smooth enablement.

You will maintain the process of record for reliability tests, define control plans, analyze performance data, and drive AI-assisted improvements to raise quality, efficiency, and compliance across the lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, or related engineering field.
• Understanding in semiconductor backend or reliability lab processes.
• Experience with reliability tests such as thermal/humidity stress, temperature cycling, reflow, HTOL, ELFR, HNBTI, etc.
• Familiarity with quality systems, process control, and audits.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead qualification and process buyoff for new equipment or layout changes; coordinate with Facilities and GEL in enablement.
• Maintain and improve the process of record (POR) for assigned reliability tests, ensuring SOP compliance.
• Define process windows, control plans, and reaction mechanisms to prevent excursions and maintain product integrity.
• Partner with Automation Engineers to implement error-proofing measures and reduce manual touchpoints.
• Support audits by maintaining documentation, training records, and compliance evidence.
• Analyze process performance data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement; apply AI-assisted techniques.
• Integrate AI-enabled tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, ensuring compliance.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements.
