Job summary

Warren Golf & Country Club in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Assistant Golf Manager to lead the golf operation on the ground and ensure a well-run day for members on the course.

You will supervise golf office staff, manage tee-time bookings, pace of play and events, and act as the first point of contact for members at the golf office and first tee. Shift work includes early mornings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• GCE A-Level or Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in golf operations, including 1 year supervising staff.
• Good knowledge of the Rules of Golf, competitions and Handicap System.
• Familiar with tee-time booking.
• Able to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise golf office staff, starters, marshals, caddies and buggy attendants.
• Plan duty rosters, check attendance every shift and keep standards high.
• Run the golf office: tee-time bookings, balloting, check-in and visitor play.
• Manage pace of play, the buggy fleet and the lightning warning procedure.
• Run club competitions and events on the day, and support handicap administration.
• Be the first point of contact for members at the golf office and first tee.
