Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, maritime studies or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in shipping, shipowning or brokerage environments.
• Track record in vessel procurement and S&P within shipping or shipbuilding industries.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, evaluate, and execute medium- to long-term fleet development plans with stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive newbuilding ordering strategies and lead global vessel procurement activities.
• Lead procurement negotiations with shipyards, focusing on China, and build strategic partnerships.
• Perform financial modeling and profitability analyses for vessel investments.
• Track global shipbuilding trends and ensure projects meet budget and timelines.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of new vessels.
