Job summary

Triton AI Pte Ltd is seeking a Vessel IT Engineer based in Singapore to provide remote L2/L3 support to vessels and ship crews, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and maritime communications systems. The role involves upgrading onboard IT infrastructure and ensuring consistent connectivity for mission-critical operations.

The position requires hands-on, on-site infrastructure experience with 24/7 operation readiness and occasional vessel visits for audits or technical work.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of IT infrastructure/technical support experience within maritime industry.
• Hands-on onsite infrastructure support experience, not only cloud-based MS 365 support.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote L2/L3 technical support to vessels, captains and ship crew.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and communication issues remotely.
• Manage, maintain and upgrade onboard IT infrastructure across the vessel fleet.
• Support vessel networks, servers, workstations, Wi‑Fi, firewalls, switches, UPS, storage and backups.
• Install and optimise Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Windows 10, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Hyper‑V).
• Monitor performance, connectivity, availability and reliability across onboard environments.
