Job summary

Airbus is seeking a Type Rating Instructor (TRI) / Type Rating Examiner (TRE) based in Singapore, responsible for instructing airline crew on Airbus operational and technical aspects. This role includes conducting training and evaluating progress as well as maintaining high airmanship standards.

The ideal candidate must hold an EASA ATPL License and have extensive flight experience, particularly on Airbus aircraft. Fluent English is essential for communication with trainees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8000 hours as Pilot.
• Minimum 5000 hours on jet large aircraft.
• Minimum 2500 hours as Captain on Airbus aircraft.
• Evidence base training expertise is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Instruct airline crew on operational and technical aspects.
• Conduct theoretical training for type-rating courses.
• Evaluate crew's progression and determine training needs.
• Maintain high level of airmanship in multicultural environments.
