Job summary

Michael Page International Pte Ltd is seeking a senior procurement leader to develop long-term category strategies for a high-value portfolio in advanced technology manufacturing. You will shape supplier innovation, drive cost reduction, and lead a global team across regions.

You will partner with executives across operations, engineering, and finance to deliver procurement objectives, manage supplier risk, and pursue continuous improvements in total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business; MBA advantageous.
• 10+ years in procurement, sourcing or category management in electronics/manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in procurement or category teams.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing and category programmes.
• Experience driving cost reduction, supplier development and Total Cost Ownership.
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Negotiation of high-value contracts and supplier agreements.
• Experience managing supplier risk, performance and continuity strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term category strategies aligned with roadmaps.
• Lead a team of procurement and category management professionals.
• Strengthen strategic supplier partnerships to support innovation and cost reduction.
• Partner with executives across operations, engineering, finance and manufacturing.
• Drive annual cost improvement programmes and TCO optimisation initiatives.
• Lead supplier performance management, business reviews and risk mitigation.
• Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to identify sourcing opportunities.
