Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Principal Capital Supplier Manager to own end-to-end commercial ownership of capital equipment categories, driving cost competitiveness, supply resilience, and executive engagement with supplier partners.

You will define global category strategies, lead complex multi-year negotiations on tools and services, apply should-cost and TCO models, and collaborate with TD, OCT, Fab Engineering and Finance to unlock multi-year savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
• 5+ years in Capital Procurement, Engineering, or Category Management (semiconductor preferred).
• Deep domain expertise in capital equipment economics and supplier behavior.
• Demonstrated success in global negotiations and category leadership.
• Strong executive presence; comfortable engaging SVP/CEO‑level supplier leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define global category strategies for capital equipment and supplier landscape.
• Lead executive reviews and escalation governance with supplier executives.
• Lead multi-year global negotiations: tool pricing, framework agreements, and lifecycle costs.
• Apply should-cost, TCO, and benchmarking in negotiations.
• Partner with TD, OCT, Fab Engineering, Operations, Planning and Finance.
• Mentor staff on negotiation strategy and supplier engagement maturity.
